Since I have started with taking the bigger number in our head and counting on for addition such as touch math, my kinders are quicker and understand adding more. Plus, counting on helps when adding bigger numbers.

Honestly, if you need to carry a flashlight as well, it sounds like these are over hyped and too expensive for what they are.

Hi! Thank you for the video ,it is super helpful for us!! One question please , have you ever had any experience with kids who received radiation on the brain ? Our boy is 8 ,he has started school this year ,his main problem is math . (Memorizing numbers and everything conecting with numbers)As our doctor told us ,it is very common for such kids ... We will be thankful for any advice on this matter

I just found your channel and I love your interactions with the kids. I love how you use callbacks and sign language to interact with your class. You actually have amazing science projects and writing tips for your class as well. I'm teaching 1st grade Kindergarten combo class this fall and am preparing myself.

Do you have any ideas for how I can get middle school students to follows rules and such? FYI I teach Home ec. AKA Family and consumer science ...the problems I'm having are students completely opting out of any work, classroom disruptions , cell phone use, destroying my supplies/equipment, going to the bathroom often and not returning quickly, being disrespectful to me and fellow students and coming unprepared

I really want to become a better teacher. I was so impatient with my third graders this year. I yelled and argued and handed out punitive consequences like candy. The last few days of school, I had a full class every day. Other teachers had 0-4 students and mine kept showing up. They were smiling and showing love to the end. They were also keeping me from getting anything done, making a mess and arguing, like they'd been doing all year. I wish I hadn't been so impatient with them and want to do better next year.

Where can I purchase some of the things in the math stations? I want to do some of these activities with my daughter
